The Effects of Cognitive Treatment Programs on Dementia Cases : A Systematic Review

Abstract
Objective : The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of cognitive therapy programs on dementiapatients and to present the effectiveness and accessibility of various cognitive therapy programs, and toexpand cognitive therapy programs and provide effective evidence-based interventions.

Methods : ¡®Dementia AND Cognitive program¡¯, ¡®Dementia AND Cognitive training¡¯, ¡®Cognitive AND Rehabi l i tati onprogram¡¯, ¡®Effect of therapy AND Dement i a¡¯ , ¡®Alzheimer¡¯s AND Cogniti ve program¡¯, ¡®Dementia AND Cogni ti ontraining¡¯ The results of this study are summarized as follows. First, the results of the study we r e analyzedby using Rehabilitation program, Effect of therapy AND Dementi a, Al zhei mer's and Cognitive program, andDementi a AND Cognition training.

Results : The quality level of the research was a total of 11 papers, wi t h 5 papers(45.4%) belonging to Level¥°, 2 papers(18.1%) to Level ¥± and 4 papers(36.3%) in the 5-level classification met hod. The number ofintervention subjects was 251 (61.07%) wi t h mi l d dementia, and a higher percentage than those diagnosedwi t h Al zhei mer's or listed as dementia. The effects of the cognitive therapy program wer e effective bothin cognition, quality of life, and activities of daily living. The medi at or was found to be the most engagedby the occupational therapist.

Conclusion : The results of this study can be used as a basis for the effects of occupational therapists'cognitive therapy intervention on dementia patients.
